Expedition Programs

Our expeditions are more adventurous, long-duration hikes through local trails, crossing remote areas with very basic infrastructure and little or almost no tourist affluence. They offer an excellent combination of culture, nature and trekking in an off-the-beaten-track route and are strongly recommended for those in search of something different.

All our expedition programs are operated exclusively on a private basis.

Choquequirao to Machupicchu Expedition

A spectacular trek that will first lead you to the enigmatic last refuge of the Incas, Choquequiraw, located in the area of the Vilcabamba mountain range and the Apurimac River canyon, to then continue on to Machupicchu, passing through the recently discovered archaeological sites of Qoriwayrachina, Cota Coca and Corralpata (appeared in National Geographic Magazine). An expedition combining awesome mountain scenery, the visit of remote archaeological complexes, Andean flora and fauna, natural hot springs and Andean communities in a less explored route ending in the world famous Inca Citadel of Machupicchu.

• Choquequirao – Vilcabamba – Machupicchu 10D/9N

Vilcabamba to Machupicchu Expedition

A complete trekking circuit that covers the visit of the enigmatic archaeological sites of Ñusta Hispana, Vitcos and Rosaspata, offering amazing and different attractions everyday, besides spectacular mountain and valley views, before finally reaching the sacred Inca city of Machu Picchu on the last day. We also offer an alternative hike to the mysterious Espíritu Pampa Inca ruins in a spectacular 8-day trek.
